Water information data
The NSW Government does not guarantee that Water Information data is current nor does it guarantee that the data or the data capturing processes are free from corruption or error. Data provided at this site is preliminary and the Office of Water's quality assurance procedures may be incomplete.
Most continuously monitored data has been relayed by telemetry and has received only partial review. Inaccuracies in the data may be present due to instrument malfunctions or physical changes at the measurement site. Subsequent review may result in significant revisions of the data.
Where discrete water quality data is shown to be available, the results may not have been reviewed to determine whether they comply with the department's quality assurance procedures.
Data users are cautioned to consider carefully the provisional nature of the information before using it for decisions that concern personal or public safety or the conduct of business that involves substantial monetary or operational consequences.
